“Just spent a fab, relaxing weekend in Brecon with my husband and dog. We stayed in one of the cottages at the back of the pub. Perfect base for accessing the canal basin/towpath, walking into Brecon town with its narrow streets and interesting shops and for easy access to the surrounding countryside. The cottage was pristine, had a downstairs cloakroom and upstairs bathroom, the bedroom was spacious and the bed was huge and comfy. We were delighted to find in the kitchen area a range of breakfast cereals to choose from and bread, milk, spread, tea, coffee, orange juice etc. The mini kitchen had everything we needed – toaster, kettle, fridge, microwave. “We stayed at the Gremlin cottages when we were in town for the Brecon show weekend! We were not disappointed! From the excellent location to the nicely presented cottages! They are in a prime location near the centre of town or you can go for a pleasant stroll down the canal or even hire a boat and travel down the canal!!!! The best thing about the Gremlin is the staff. If you’re looking for a local pub which welcomes anyone then this is the place! Enjoy some drinks, darts or quoits and plenty of laughs!
